A CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP
While in Minneapolis, amidst coffee shop co-working sessions, a minor design crisis unfolded. Zach Windahl, creator of “The Bible Study,” found himself facing a daunting challenge: revamping the first rendition of the workbook within a mere two weeks. What started as a simple offer to assist Zach with his design dilemma evolved into an enthralling journey. Within a 14 day design sprint, a two-part 600 paged workbook underwent a remarkable transformation. From a makeshift layout to a polished gem, this collaboration would become a multiyear partnership.
EXPANDING HORIZONS
The domino effect was set in motion. "The Sunday Brand" soon boasted a diversified portfolio. Products such as Bible Trivia, the Best Week Planner, Holy Habits notepad, tabletop cards, and more became staples. Eventually, this material became crafted into a curriculum destined for notable churches like Vous Church in Miami, Florida.
DESIGNING FOR ALL AGES
The creative odyssey encompassed a myriad of design projects, and in just a few short years they introduced a youth edition, a vibrant and colorful 90-day version, catering to a younger audience. Additionally, a captivating Bible study for kids was developed through a collaboration with illustrator Friks, bridging the generational gap.
A FLOURISHING BRAND
The Brand Sunday transformed from a humble Bible study to a multifaceted, vibrant, and recognizable brand. The journey, marked by creativity and collaboration, demonstrates the power of turning a seemingly ordinary problem into a flourishing creative adventure. Sunday, once a simple idea, has become an embodiment of brand diversity and innovation, and it all began with a coffee shop conversation and a willingness to lend a helping hand.
